From admin to illustrations
I've always been creative, from studying interior design to illustrating greeting cards, upcycling furniture and turning our house into a funky colourful home.
After having my second child I wanted to focus on my career. Having been in a safe admin job for over a decade, I really wanted something more creative and flexible around my young family (but finding that isn't easy) so I started my own VA business. Maybe not as creative as I'd liked, but definitely challenging and flexible.
By then I'd met so many female founders and noticed a log of their branding looked very much the same. I knew I wanted something different for my own business, and through building that I found my passion for vibrant, personality-filled branding.
Building my own brand taught me a lot. And I realised I wanted to use those skills to help other women who are creating their own version of success. Bringing my illustration and design skills to their business and knowing that helps them grow, feel confident and go after the bigger opportunities is why I do this.

How I work
When we work together I don't just want a brief. I want to know why you're so passionate about what you do, how you got to where you are, what you struggle with and what lights you up.
Because those details are uniquely you - and that's what makes the difference between branding that looks nice and branding that feels confident, comfortable and a perfect fit.
Creating a space where you can share the things you might not want to put on social media (the doubts, the wobbles, the "is this even working" moments). Often when we stay in our own heads we keep going round in circles, not making any progress. Having someone to talk things through with makes the next decision feel a lot easier.
Every project starts with The Brand Discovery Questionnaire to get all the ideas out of your head and onto paper. Clients often descibe it as "gosh, this is a lot." But when they see their finished branding they say "wow, this is SO me."
